How to Get There

To reach Worser Bay from State Highway 1 near Wellington Airport, take Miramar Avenue east onto the peninsula, then head north on Tahinu Road to Rex Street. Follow Rex Street to the end and turn left onto Para Street, followed shortly after by a right turn onto Awa Street. Ara Strett winds across the Seaatoun Hills to Marine Parade at the north end of Worser Bay. It takes about 25 minutes to get there from Central Wellington and 8 minutes from the airport.

Other places to visit on the east side of the peninsula include the Wahine Memorial and the Ataturk Memorial at Tarakena Bay and Scorching Bay.
