Te Ngaere is a charming 700-metre beach and small holiday town located on Taiaue Bay in Northland, with stunning white to golden sand. The beach is ideal for swimming and is easily accessible from Wainui Road, which runs through the town. The eastern end of the beach features a reserve nestled between the road and the shoreline, while houses offer scenic views from the west.

Te Ngaere is situated on Wainui Road, approximately 4 km northwest of Matauri Bay. Coming from State Highway 10, it's a 19 km, 20-minute drive from the south. From Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands, the drive is 35 minutes and 38 km.
