Brick Bay Kauri Walk

The Brick Bay Kauri Walk on the Mahurangi Peninsula is superb. It is an extension of the sculpture walk, with several interesting artworks, but for some reason, the trunks of the maturing trees are particularly colourful. The Kauri Walk detour from the sculpture walk only takes a few minutes, and it is worth it, even if kauri trees are no longer a novel experience.
