Access to Dublin Bay on Lake Wānaka is from State Highway 6 to Hāwea. Cross the single-lane bridge over the Clutha River at Albert Town, then turn left onto Dublin Bay Road. This 4 km metal road turns into a basic 4WD/biking/hiking track at Dublin Bay.
It’s easy to find a park and then wander around the bay's edge; mind the thorny introduced rosehip and native matagouri! Choose a calm day for the reflections in the bay.
