Bluff Hill

Bluff Hill is a steep hill immediately behind the town centre of Napier. It is dominated by Victorian and Edwardian wooden houses that predate the earthquake. It is amazing to think they survived both the earthquake and fire intact.

You can walk up to the cliff-top edge of the hill to a park that overlooks the Port of Napier. This is a good spot to watch the sunset, as the viewpoint faces north.
